Vanesa’s research was focused to the behavioral reproduction of Fork-tailed Flycatchers, and worked with the relationship between the timing of arrival at the breeding territories and the reproductive success in the Fork-tailed Flycatchers within the Cerrado forest. In addition, she evaluated the physiological trade-offs involved in having different levels of annual reproductive investment in female flycatchers. Currently, she is developing her Ph.D. project about movement ecology.
