AFO and the Wilson Ornithological Society have teamed up on a series of virtual events geared towards professional development in the field of ornithology. This series of virtual events is exclusive to AFO and WOS members and is one of the many membership benefits. Past and upcoming topics include career paths in ornithology, best practices for field safety, how to get the most out of conferences, fostering diversity in ornithological communities, and navigating permits and IACUCS. We welcome suggestions for future topics that members would find useful.
Registration links are sent to members via email in advance of each event. Recordings of events are made available to the general public one month after the event on our YouTube channel.
