Association of Field Ornithologists

To reduce barriers to participation in Ornithology, AFO offers Sponsored Memberships. People from groups under-represented in ornithology, from Latin America, or unable to afford the membership dues are eligible. Sponsored Members receive full membership benefits and are encouraged to be active members of AFO and participate in our virtual and in-person events, conferences, and committees. Applications are due on October 15 each year, and are awarded for the following calendar year. Please complete the sponsorship application form below before 15 October. AFO will review all applications and award Sponsored Memberships in late November each year.
